STAIN PONOROGO: COURSE OUTLINE FOR ESP CLASSES

Course outline is made to provide students a whole learning plan for a semester. It consists of the general information of the class, the course description, the mind map of the course, learning objectives, the course timeline, reference books for the course, the learning strategy, assignments and evaluation. Some additional policies from the university can be added.

I teach ESP for Tarbiyah, Muamalah, and Sharia Banking in Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Ponorogo. I develop two course outlines for my classes. Below are the course outlines I have made. Hopefully, it is beneficial for those who are preparing course outline for their classes. Thank you.

The 7th COTEFL: Designing A Content Analysis Rubric Instrument for The 2013 Curriculum-Based Textbook

The 7th COTEFL (Conference on Teaching English as a Foreign Language) was held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto on May 2015. I was there with my friends in Universitas Sebelas Maret Solo, Kartika Sugiantoro and Nadia Raifa Nawa Kartika. Kartika and I were selected as presenters. I conducted a mini research. It was still related with my thesis, it was how I made a rubric instrument for analyzing textbook, especially for the 2013 curriculum-based English textbook. I would like to share my research paper for those who are interested in conducting evaluation research.
